Jackie Hucks of Marion announces the engagement of his daughter, Regina Lynn Hucks, to Cory James Langston, son of Donald and Kaye Langston of Lake City. Miss Hucks is also the daughter of the late Lilo Hucks of Marion.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Lambert and Regina Feldmeier of Regensburg, Germany, and the late I.B. and Ruth Hucks of Marion. She is a graduate of Francis Marion University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in general business. She is employed by First Reliance Bank in Florence.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Berry and Evelyn Smith of Scranton and the late F.J. “Doc” and Louise Langston of Lake City. He is a graduate of Francis Marion University with a Bachelor of Science in computer science. He is employed by Farmers Telephone Cooperative Inc. in Sumter.
The wedding will be Jan. 10, 2009, at Calvary Baptist Church in Lake City.
