Susan Elaine Campbell of Columbia and James Russell Jennings of Columbia were married on Aug. 9, 2008, at Mt Horeb United Methodist Church at 6 p.m. with Dr. Brian Rainwater officiating.

The bride is the daughter of John and Delene Campbell of Hartsville. She is the granddaughter of Grace Pace and the late Hollis Ingram the late Spurgeon and Annie Laura Campbell, all of Hartsville. The bride earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Winthrop University and is a clinical dietitian at Lexington Medical Center.

The bridegroom is the son of Sandy Jennings of Columbia and Bill and Darla Jennings of Lexington. He is the grandson of Evelyn Jennings and the late Bryant Jennings of Columbia, Vera Abshier of Swansea and the late Cliff Abshier. He is employed with the Irmo Fire Department.

Matron of honor was Angela Wallace. Bridal attendants were Eve Osburn and Kristen Randall.

Flower girls were Harley Campbell and Caroline Jennings.

Best man was Bill Jennings.

Groomsmen were Chris Jennings and Bryan Campbell.

Ring bearers were Chandler Campbell and Will Jennings.

The reception was held at The Mitchell House and Gardens in Lexington.
The couple will honeymoon in St. Lucia.


Parties
Eve Osburn, Kristen Randall and Angela Wallace hosted an engagement party for the couple at the home of Eve Osburn in Rock Hill on March 15.
A drop-in was given for the bride by her co-workers at DHEC on May 30, in Columbia.

A miscellaneous shower was given in honor of the bride by her aunts, Jean Bristow, Becky Hunter and Doris Ann Morrison on June 14, at the Campbell home in Hartsville.

Angela Wallace, Eve Osburn and Kristen Randall hosted a couple’s shower on June 28, at the home of Angela and Jim Wallace in Charlotte, N.C.

A couple’s shower was given by Barbara and Larry McCormick on Sunday, July 13, at Union United Methodist Church in Columbia.

A rehearsal dinner on the eve of the wedding was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Bill Jennings and Sandy Jennings, parents of the groom, at the Manor House in Columbia.

A bridal luncheon honoring the bride and attendants was given by Susan Davis and Darla Jennings on Aug. 9. The luncheon was held at the Magnolia House in Lexington.
