Dr. and Mrs. Morris (Bonnilyn) Brown III of Lake City announce the engagement of their daughter, Carolyn Brown, to Anthony Grove of Oahu, Hawaii.
The bride-elect is a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Brown Jr. of Carrollton, Va., and Cynthia N. Brabble of Chesapeake, Va., and the late Austin S. Brabble Sr.
She is a veteran chemical specialist of the U.S. Army and is pursuing a nursing degree.
The groom-elect is a welder in the U.S. Army and is serving on his second tour of duty in Project Iraqi Freedom.
The wedding will be in summer 2009.
