Danielle Elizabeth Alford and David John Nagy, both of Hoboken, N.J., were married at 4 p.m. Aug. 16, 2008, at The Church of the Blessed Sacrament in New York, N.Y.
Father James F. Keenan S.J. performed the ceremony.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Luther Alford of Florence. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Alexander McCaskill, the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Luther Alford Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Willis Bundy of Bennettsville.
She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and mass communications. She is employed by Newsweek in New York as an account executive for “Arthur Frommer’s Budget Travel Magazine.”
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nagy of Kearny, N.J. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Nagy Jr., the late Mrs. Josefina Gonzalez and Mr. Jesus Gonzalez of Kearny.
He is a graduate of Fordham University with a Bachelor of Science in finance and marketing. He is employed by Credit Suisse Securities in New York as a vice president for its Legal and Compliance Division.
Maid of honor was Amy Beth Scherick.
Best man was Robert Michael Nagy, brother of the groom.
Bridesmaids were Jessica Lynn Chappell, Kelly Bobo Godfrey, Heather Moore Hewitt, Roxanne Lynette Matthews and Melissa Anne Nagy, sister of the groom.
Groomsmen were Thomas Gerald Buck, Paul Martin Rakoski Jr., Jeffrey Thomas Skinner, James Augustus Souder and Robert Charles Sprague.
Scripture readers were Christina Cox Heaton and Brian Joseph Mount.
Wedding music was performed by Dr. Gregory D’Agostino, organist and director of music.
A 7 p.m. dinner reception followed at Twenty Four Fifth located at 24 Fifth Ave. in New York.
After a honeymoon to Hawaii, the couple will reside in Hoboken, N.J.
