Skyler Covington earns professional designation

Skyler Covington of Sonoco recently was recognized as an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional.
The APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) program was introduced in 2005 by APICS The Association for Operations Management, an international education association representing more than 42,000 operations management professionals.
Covington is corporate supply chain program manager for Sonoco in Hartsville and is responsible for managing the development and implementation of supply chain improvement initiatives.
Sonoco, which was founded in 1899 in Hartsville, is a global manufacturer of industrial and consumer products and provider of packaging services, with more than 330 operations in 35 countries serving customers in 85 nations.
