American Legion Riders cruise through Hemingway

HEMINGWAY – About 70 riders and their motorcycles rumbled through Hemingway the morning of April 20, stopping at Twin City Baptist Church as part of a 600 mile ride across the state during the Second Annual American Legion Riders Legacy Fund Ride.

The ride by , sponsored by the American Legion Riders of South Carolina (ALRSC), raises money for the American Legion Legacy. The fund was established to provide scholarships for children of armed services members who perished while on active duty since September 11, 2001.
