Four arrested by Brunswick deputies following armed robbery

BOLIVIA, NC -- Four Wilmington men were arrested and charged following the late Saturday night armed robbery of the Fairhaven Mini Mart.

Witnesses to the 11 p.m. robbery gave Brunswick County Sheriff's Office deputies a good description of the get away vehicle, which was stopped by deputy Chad Scott along with officers from the Leland Police Department, according to a release issued by the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office.

Arrested, according to the release, were:

  • McNeil, Parish Kejuan, 21, Wooster Street, Wilmington, was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, kidnapping, conspiracy and possession of firearm by convicted felon.
  • Darisus Howard, 18, Greentree Road, Wilmington, was charged with was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, kidnapping, conspiracy and possession of firearm by convicted felon.
  • Michael Wienell Hasty, 38, Castle Street, Wilmington, was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, kidnapping, conspiracy and possession of firearm by convicted felon.
  • Marcus Coleman, 28, Greentree Road, Wilmington, was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, kidnapping and conspiracy.

All are in custody in lieu of $250,000 bonds, according to the release.
