'Jeopardy!" contestant Ingram receives key to the city

FLORENCE, S.C. — Florence native Benjamin Ingram was presented with a Key to the City of Florence by Councilman Robby Hill on Monday at a Florence City Council meeting after his multiple winnings recently on the game show “Jeopardy!”.

Ingram, a Wilson High School graduate, won more than $177,000 through his nine appearances on the game show, winning eight times in a row and tying him for fifth-best of all contestants ever to appear on the show.
