Darlington County coroner IDs man killed in Dovesville

The manhunt for the suspect wanted in connection with a slaying in Dovesville and suspected in the armed robbery of a Society Hill convenience store ended in northwestern Darlington County after 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee has identified the man killed as Levi Gregg. The manner of death has officially been ruled as homocide. The cause of death is pending the outcome of an autopsy being performed Monday, according to Hardee.
