Dillon murder trial ends with mixed verdict

A problem with air conditioning pushed a Dillon murder trial decision back 24 hours, but the jury's inability to reach a verdict on the proceeding's most serious charge will delay a portion of the trial even further.

A jury found Robert Lee Nelson guilty of armed robbery, burglary and possession of a weapon, but could not come to a decision on the two murder charges, resulting in a hung jury on those counts and meaning that aspect of the case will be retried.
