CONWAY, S.C. – In its continuing mission to improve the overall health in our community, Conway Medical Center has joined the American Joint Replacement Registry (AJRR). Registry affiliation helps CMC to ensure the best possible patient experience and surgical outcome.

The AJRR is an independent, not-for-profit database designed to store comprehensive data about join replacement procedures. The AJRR aims to carefully monitor the artificial joint throughout a recipient’s lifetime in a database containing information about the patient, the surgeon who performed the procedure and the hospital where the procedure took place. The data collected will help doctors more quickly identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and will help them match patients, procedures and implants to ensure that every patient has the best possible outcome.
