MARION, S.C. – College students from seven different colleges throughout the Northeast paid a visit to Marion County throughout March to help Marion County Habitat for Humanity construct its 34 home.

Every year habitat hosts college students from around the country in its annual Collegiate Challenge in which students give up their spring breaks in order to help habitat construct its low income homes. This year students from Villanova University, Lehigh University, the University of Pittsburg at Greensburg, Hamilton College, Purdue University, Katztown University and the University of Akron, whom is here this week, came to county.
