FLORENCE, S.C. – Beach dancers rejoice as a co-author of the book “Save The Last Dance For Me, A Love Story of the Shag and the Society of Stranders” is coming to Florence for a book signing later Jan. 27 as part of the Friends of the Florence County Library System annual meeting.
The night will feature live demonstrations of dancers demonstrating the shag, South Carolina’s state dance, with the co-author Tom Poland talking about the book.
