DARLINGTON, S.C. -- Dozens of people were given the chance to take down the infamous Darlington Raceway on Saturday as a reward for donating toys or cash to the Toys for Tots campaign.

Those eager to help Toys for Tots and get a chance to drive their own cars around the famous 1.36-mile track lined up in the infield to offer toys up to the volunteers. Official Darlington Raceway trucks then led the thrill-seeking drivers out onto the track in groups of about 10 at a time for three laps at speeds of up to 70 mph.
