AMA president: healthcare uncertainty ‘unhealthy’

FLORENCE – From Obamacare to Medicare to the employment of doctors and patient care, the president of the American Medical Association said Monday it is a tumultuous time for the medical community.

Dr. Jeremy Lazarus, MD, president of the American Medical Association, was in Florence to address roughly 120 physicians from around the area at McLeod Regional Medical Center. Lazarus has been touring the country in recent weeks, delivering a talk entitled, “With the Election Over, What Happens to the Physician?”
