Heather Elizabeth Causey of Conway and David Lee Sims, Jr. of Florence were married at 4:30 p.m., December 18, 2010 at the home of the bride's parents.
Virgil Chestnut performed the ceremony. The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Ronnie and Sandra Causey of Conway. She is the granddaughter of John H. Price and Frankie Walker of Conway and the late George William Causey and Alma Holmes of Conway.
The bride is a graduate of MUSC, with a Masters in Nurse Anesthesia, and she is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at Loris Healthcare System.
The bride wore a white strapless tulle ballgown detailed with crystals. The veil was an angel wing veil with crystal detail. The bouquet was made with two dozen red roses, holly, and seeded eucalyptus wrapped with white ribbon.
The groom is the son of David and Margaret Rose Sims of Florence. He is the grandson of the late Nicholas Ross and Gertrude McNeill Campbell of Florence and the late Robert Lee and Frances Moore Sims of Florence.
The groom is the owner of Landscape and Irrigation Concepts, LLC.
Maid of Honor was Jennifer Smith, cousin of the bride.
Best Man was David Sims, Sr., father of the groom.
Bridesmaids were Jessica Boyd, cousin of the bride, Katie Khanduja, Susan Lewis, Cindy Hatcher and Amy Richardson, all friends of the bride.
Groomsmen were Ronnie Knight, Brantley Broach, Steve Bragdon, Matt Lewis and Brandon Hill, all friends of the groom.
Flower Girl was Whitney Edwards, cousin of the groom.
Ring Bearer was Thomas Edwards, cousin of the groom.
Special participants in the wedding ceremony were, Rebecca Nissen, harpist, Joe Peno, soloist, and Heritage Carriage, horse and buggy.
A reception followed at the home of the bride's parents in Conway.
After a wedding trip to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, the couple will live in Conway.
