NEW YORK CITY, NY - CBS- The youngest kids in class could be overdiagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder or ADHD.

A new study in the Canadian Medical Association Journal looked at nearly

one-million kids and found children were 39-percent more likely to be

diagnosed with ADHD if they were born in December, compared to children born

in January.

The younger kids were also 48-percent more likely to be treated with

medication for ADHD.
