Emily Dawn Harrelson of Johnsonville, SC and Joel Christopher Beachum of Myrtle Beach, SC were married on  October  16,  2010 at 5:00 pm at Hemingway First Baptist Church. Rev. Christopher Marsh and Rev. Bob Taylor performed the ceremony.

The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Aque and Patricia Harrelson of Hemingway, SC.        She is the granddaughter of the late Norton and Estelle Johnson of Johnsonville, SC and the late Cecil and Jaronie Harrelson of Hemingway, SC.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Gardner-Webb University and is currently a PE Teacher at Brigg's Elementary in Florence, SC.

The groom is the son of Joe Beachum and Hope Eichelberger of Myrtle Beach, SC. He is the grandson of Evelyn Davis of Sandford, NC and the late William Davis of Sandford, NC, and the late Robbie Mae and Joe Beachum, Sr. of Wadesboro, NC.

The groom is a 1993 graduate of UNC-Pembroke and is currently a Department Manager for Lowe's of Conway, SC.

Matron of Honor was Hope Barnhill, sister of the bride.

Best Man was Joe Beachum, father of the groom.

Bridesmaids were Lindsay Hartfield, cousin of the bride, Karen Gatesman, sister of the groom, Melinda Gatesman, niece of the groom, and Kateland McDaniel, friend of the bride.

Groomsmen were Keith Barnhill, brother-in-law of the bride, John Harrelson, cousin of the bride, Kreig Marzolf, friend of the groom, and Andy Roberts, friend of the groom.

Flower Girl was Jessa Barnhill, niece of the bride.

Ring Bearer was Jacob Barnhill, nephew of the bride.

Honorary Bridesmaids were Aimie McKimmee, friend of the bride, and Emily Painter, friend of the bride.

Honorary Groomsmen were Randy Gatesman, brother-in-law of the groom, and Aaron Tanner, friend of the groom.

A reception followed at J. J. Mitcheom Center in Hemingway, SC.  After a wedding trip to Savannah, Georgia, the couple will live in Britton's Neck, SC.
